The Role

As General Manager of Steele Hyundai Fredericton, you will be responsible for the overall performance, culture, and strategic direction of the dealership across all departments:

• Customer Experience: Ensure every interaction reflects the modern, attainable luxury experience synonymous with Steele Auto Group and the Hyundai brand.
• Employee Experience: Lead, coach, and support department leaders, building accountable, high-performing teams rooted in professionalism and respect.
• Dealership Leadership: Oversee Sales, F&I, Service, and Parts operations in alignment with Hyundai brand standards.
• Financial & Operational Performance: Manage budgets, KPIs, and expense controls while driving long-term profitability.
• Sales & Marketing: Guide inventory strategy and marketing initiatives to strengthen market share and brand presence.
• People & Culture: Partner with HR on recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of dealership leadership experience

• Take command of inventory strategy through to deal structuring, delivering an exceptional Hyundai experience at every step.
• Harness the power of data using PBS, vAuto, and Excel to drive smart, performance-focused decisions.
• Coach, mentor, and develop your team to sharpen skills, elevate presentations, and maximize results.
• Collaborate with finance, marketing, and leadership to create measurable impact across the dealership.
• Monitor market trends, customer expectations, and competitor activity to proactively guide strategy.

Skills That Drive Success

• 2--3 years in a Sales Manager or similar automotive leadership role, preferably in a high-volume pre-owned operation
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to drive performance
• Experience with vAuto, PBS, and Excel for reporting and performance tracking
• A natural leader with excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to turn opportunities into results
• Valid driver's license
